Lauren K. VanDenburg is a civil litigator with experience advising and representing clients in both state and federal court. Ms. VanDenburg represents a diverse range of clients, including small businesses, individuals and entrepreneurs. Her representations involve a comprehensive range of issues arising from commercial contracts, insurance, premises liability, transportation, partnership and joint venture disputes, real estate, business torts, products liability, and unfair competition. Ms. VanDenburg has represented clients in jury trials, and has extensive pre-trial litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, and law and motion practice.
Prior to joining Turner Aubert & Friedman, LLP, Ms. VanDenburg worked as a certified law clerk for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, where she regularly appeared in court to argue in preliminary hearings and motions to suppress. Ms. VanDenburg obtained her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she served as a Senior Production Editor for the Hastings Law Journal. Prior to law school, she attended the University of California, Davis earning a degree in Economics and a minor in Political Science.
